Abstract
A fluorometric analysis, both spectrally- and time-resolved was performed on Hematoporphyrin-Derivative (HpD) in mouse erythroleukemia (MEL) cells. Two main emission bands at about 630 and 660 nm were observed, and three fluorescence decay times (~ 0.6, ~ 3 and ~ 13 ns). The results obtained were interpreted on the basis of previous measurements per-formed in solution. Cells were shown to exhibit a different affinity towards the various HpD component.
