Abstract
One method of picking up of the sectional images of the 3-D object for video transmission is to use an assembly of cameras having their focal planes adjusted to fall in different lateral regions of the object. The image registered in each camera has regional blur due to defocusing of other lateral regions of the object. Two image processing techniques are described to reduce this blur effect. The first technique is based on negative neighborhood averaging on threshold and the second method is based on spatial modulation and filtering,
