Abstract
1. Introduction - Present situation of manufacturing industries and its targets In recent years, the trend to automate production lines has gathered increasing momentum across the whole range of manufacturing industries. Very high levels of automation are now commonplace in the manufacture of such diverse products as Automobiles to Video Recorders and minute Intergrated Circuits. Other industries manufacturing such products as foods, cosmetics, and pharmaceuticals have rapidly invested in automated methods, particularly for the filling and packaging processes.
