Abstract

Photographic sequences of bubbles induced in water by a Nd:YAG laser and of the flow generated in front of a solid target by a CO₂ laser are presented. These were carried out with the aid of an electronic image converter camera at framing speeds of 2,106 F 2.10⁷ fr/s and a streak speed of 10 μs/cm.
