Abstract
Holographic interferometry combined with the digital image processing technique was firstly used in whole field thermometry. Some discussions on the theoretical basis and operational steps of image processing were given in detail. Using M-75 image system, we easily obtained the 3-D temperature distribution of an alcohol flame within a few minutes.
