Abstract
This paper deals with the research works in constructing a kind of narrow band holographic reflection filters based on the coupled wave, theory. The methods of construction were discribed, and properties of the filters were analyzed. A few points relevant to the coupled wave theory were discussed, and suggestions for future practical use of the filters were given. Data proved that the holographic filters have narrow band-width, high efficiency, tunability, and large area filters can readily be constructed with very low cost.
