Abstract

We demonstrate that granular films of Y-Ba-Cu-0 can detect broadband optical radiation, at temperatures up to 100 K. A lower bound of D* has been measured and found to be 10⁸ cm-Hz¹⁷² /Watt, and a response time of 20 nanoseconds has been determined.
