Abstract
In array signal processing applications, it can happen that amplitude and phase distortions are inadvertently introduced into the constituent sensor signals through electronic equipment miscalibration or non omni-directional sensors. In some cases, this distortion may be artificially induced through inaccurate sensor location. Whatever the case, the ability to provide useful direction-of-arrival estimates is adversely affected by these factors. In this paper, a procedure is presented for correcting amplitude and phase distortions.
