Abstract
CAI, a Division of RECON/OPTICAL, INC. has developed an Airborne Minefield Detection and Reconnaissance System (AMIDARS)* which provides passive day/night reconnaissance of minefields, armored/ground vehicles, troop concentrations, bridges/railways and buildings from unmanned reconnaissance vehicles. This paper discusses the results of the integration flight tests. Selected imagery is presented and evaluated to assess the system's performance.
