Abstract

Some parallel image processing algorithms will be described which are designed and implemented on the parallel processor of the SIMD-type (PPS SIMD) developed at the Institute of Technical Cybernetics in Bratislava. The algorithms of histogramming, local filtering and fast orthogonal transform will be formulated for this parallel computer. Time measurements for some of realized procedures will be also given.
