Abstract
The study is focused on developing and testing a 2-D microscale mathematical model and a numerical method for the analysis of turbulent flow and passive gaseous admixture transfer in street canyons. The model was tested by modeling laminar flow in the initial section of a 2-D channel and eddy flow in a channel with sudden expansion. After verification the model was used to study the flow structure in the street canyon depending on the ratio between channel width and building height.
