Abstract
Visualization of medical volume data play an important role in diagnosis and treatment, its techniques have now hit the highlights of research and application. In the paper, fractal dimension combined with Marching Cubes algorithm is presented to reconstruct the three dimension model. After which, the three dimension model is displayed by using the VTK(The Visualization Toolkit, VTK) soft system. And with the help of the 3D interaction widgets of VTK, we can get extensive information about the inside tissues easily, which can aid doctors to diagnose like judging the artery stenosis and the distribution of the patches. The experiments show the efficiency and stability of the method.
