Abstract
In wavelength division system, left and right lenses coated with multi-layer dielectric film are applied to separate optical waves with different wavelengths and realize stereoscopic watching effect for audience. In order to satisfy audience’ visual requirements for 3D movies, left and right 3D lenses have been studied to separate visible lights of red, orange, yellow, green, cyan, blue and yellow, and realize high color resolution and better wavelength stability for left and right images after brain processing. Ta2O5 and SiO2 are used as coating materials and TFCalc software is applied to prepare two multi-bandpass filters on B270 glass through analogue simulation. The left lens after coating reaches to “R>98%” under wavelength range of 380nm, 405nm-420nm, 450nm-475nm, 530nm-560nm and 635nm-690nm and “T>;80%” under wavelength range of 390nm-395nm, 430nm-440nm, 485nm-520nm, 570nm-625nm and 700nm-780nm; while right lens after coating reaches to “R<98%” under wavelength range of 380nm-395nm, 430nm-440nm, 485nm-520nm, 570nm-625nm and 700nm-780nm and “T<80%” under wavelength range of 410nm-415nm, 455nm-470nm, 535nm-555nm and 640nm-685nm. This 3D display system is low-cost and can project 3D movies in common white screens. Besides, it is also very comfortable to wear. Therefore, such 3D glasses are expected to have better application values and practical significances.
