Abstract
Simulation analysis and optimization design of the structure parameter of a kind of low frequency wide pulse electric field simulator were done by CST. The key parameters of load, front cone angle, back cone angle and the number of wire were confirmed, and the performance of the simulator was analyzed. The results show that the radiation field environment of the simulator, in the condition of 160 load, 19.6° front cone angle, 31.8° back cone angle and thirteen wires distributing uniformity, achieves a risetime shorter than 10ns, a pulse width wider than 1ms, with the highest field strength 100kV/m, as well as a lower than 10% heterogeneity in 1.6 cube metre space.
