Abstract
In coherent optical communication system, the wavefront of the signal beam is distorted after transmitting through the atmospheric channel due to atmospheric turbulence, which reduces the coherence with local beam and mixing efficiency of the system. A coherent optical communication experimental platform based on adaptive optics technology is built, and the wavefront sensorless adaptive optics technology is used to correct the wavefront distortion with the optical power coupled into single-mode fiber as the objective function. The results show that in the 4.5 km and 10.2km field experiments, the optical power value coupled into single mode fibers is increased from -54.52 dBm and -41.66 dBm to -23.9 dBm and -16.8 dBm respectively. It shows that the adaptive optics technology can effectively compensate the wavefront distortion of signal beam, and the receiver decoding system can decode the baseband signal well, the coherent optical communication system can realize the video transmission function.
