Abstract
We introduce solution for polarization correction for propagation constant of a linearly polarized guided modes in a curved optical fiber. We considered a linearly polarized guided modes weakly guiding optical fiber with an arbitrary refractive index profile and constant curvature. Proposed solution is based on well known Gaussian approximation method and stratification method.
