12 November 2020 Century spectra of temperature fluctuations in the atmospheric boundary layer for the cities of Tsimlyansk and Tomsk

Abstract
New results of constructing a temporary frequency spectrum of air temperature fluctuations for the extended time range from mesometeorological to intra-century intervals for 67 full years of observation period for Tsimlyansk city and from micrometeorological to intra-century intervals for the period of 138 full years of observations for Tomsk city are presented. The spectra are composed of the adjacent intervals, based on the following data sources: I) databases of daily measurements of air temperature and precipitation, II) databases of eight-terms observations of the main meteorological parameters, III) own measurements data of air temperature fluctuations using the ultrasonic meteorological system AMK-03. Spectrum for Tsimlyansk is composed of intervals I and II, for Tomsk – I, II and III. Range of the spectrum temporal frequencies for Tsimlyansk: 4.7·10-10 Hz — 4.6·10-5 Hz, for Tomsk: 2.3·10-10 Hz — 8·101 Hz. The results confirm the form of temperature fluctuations spectrum known from the literature.
