Abstract
The following paper presents a basic analysis of charged pions produced in Ag+Ag collisions at 1.58 A GeV obtained during the March 2019 beamtime with the HADES experiment at GSI. Most of the results were achieved during author’s internship at GSI which took place between July and September 2019 and resulted in acquisition of charged pions multiplicities alongside with several different pT vs. γ distributions. The analysis starts with the particle identification process based on β vs. p distribution. Subsequently, the acceptance times efficiency and purity corrections in a pT vs. γ phasespace are introduced.
