Abstract

Brighterwave, poLight, ST Micro-electronic are collaborating to create new solution for new laser scanning devices. By combining R-G-B BrighterWave laser and poLight polymer optic, ultracompact laser projection concepts have been created. Indeed, we believe that by combining the high performances of the laser and new concept of polymer scanning mirror, 2D laser scanning with high luminance, contrast, low power consumption, small size (sub 5mm cubic all included), over 60 deg scan bidirectional angle capability. We will present a potential embodiment/concept as well as describe the advantages/drawback with respect to projection display or retina display for AR-VR glass.
