In this report, FBG inscription by the point-by-point method using a femtosecond laser is described. The results concerning the dependence of the spectral characteristics of the FBG on the power of the inscribing radiation are demonstrated. A new approach to FBG inscription is reported, based on the modernization of the point-by-point method, which makes it possible to control FBG inscription with high accuracy. The dynamics of inscription by a similar method is presented.
