Imprint materials for optical applications can have a multitude of different properties, dictated by the function they must fulfill. Apart from optical properties such as refractive index, wavelength-dependent transmission or scattering behavior, a frequently neglected parameter is the thermo-mechanical behavior. We will discuss the importance to balance all these properties to achieve the best performance in different application and production scenarios, based on simulations and experimental tests.
