Abstract
A new configuration of lensless digital holographic microscope based on a wedge plate is demonstrated. The system is simple in geometry, compact in size and highly stable in temporal phase measurements leading to the accurate investigations of minute membrane fluctuations of the biological cells. The proposed system is used for label-free quantitative phase imaging of the human red blood cells (RBCs) and the investigations of morphology and physiological parameters related to the phase information. The obtained results confirm the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed system.
