Abstract
The paper presents a model of the influence of optical fiber transmission properties on the operation of optical fiber colour vision systems and results of a computer analysis of the effect of these properties on colour discrimination by colour recognition systems. The performed analysis provided a basis for formulation of same general conclusions and recommendations for designing different types of colour recognition systems employing optical fibers.
