Abstract
Taking the design of residential retrofit for aging as the research object, this paper studies the design method for aging based on BIM technology. By describing the housing problems faced by the aging population in China and analyzing the difficulty of the renovation design for the aging of the existing housing, the paper proposes to solve the problems in the renovation design by using BIM technology from the aspects of modular design, roaming simulation, collision detection and intelligent housing data collection.
