Abstract
The electric lift landing door is the separation barrier between the lift well and the floor space. The fire resistance of the landing door has an important impact on the evacuation of the building in the event of a fire. In order to acknowledge the fire resistance performance of the current landing doors, a set of test equipment suitable for fire resistance test of landing doors was established, including a convenient sample installation device. Different type samples from several manufacturers were tested, including a glass landing door sample. The fire resistance performance was analyzed and useful conclusions and suggestions were put forward.
