Abstract
In order to solve the practical problems such as large number of information sources, information redundancy and difficulty in confirming target in Multi-UAV cooperative reconnaissance scenarios, this paper designs a multi-UAV target information fusion method combining target re-identification with online clustering technology. A real-time target feature extraction network is constructed to visually characterize reconnaissance target. The target information is encoded by fusing the target's longitude, latitude, category, and visual features. Hamming distance and cosine distance are used to measure the similarity of multi-source target features. Based on the online high-dimensional data clustering algorithm, we build a multi-source target information fusion architecture under Multi-UAV cooperative reconnaissance. Finally, the algorithm is verified based on the actual flight data of drone swarm composed of three UAVs. The experimental results show that the proposed algorithm can effectively fuse multiple reconnaissance target information, reduce the target search and decision time, and improve the efficiency of reconnaissance operations.
