Abstract
The stimulation of employees' green behavior is complex. This study explores the factors stimulate employee green behavior (EGB) at workplace, considering contextual and individual factors. The contextual factors include leadership behavior, corporate social responsibility, green atmosphere and green human resource management; and individual factors include autonomous motivation, external motivation and self-identity. We interviewed 12 employees to identify influencing factors, and surveyed 208 employees of cultural companies, and obtained 180 valid responses. Using fuzzy-set qualitative comparative analysis (FsQCA), we found that three configurations stimulate green behavior, and three configurations impeding EGB asymmetrically. We provide an explanation for the complexities of organizational management.
