Abstract
This article proposes a rapid monitoring and visualization method for surface changes based on multi-temporal DEM and WebGis. Firstly, high-resolution surface images are obtained using drones and processed into a digital elevation model (DEM). Then, mathematical modeling is performed on the surface change units using cubic voxels, and the voxels are rendered and animated in 3D. Finally, Cesium.js is synchronized with THREE.js camera, and the cubic voxels are integrated into the WebGis space. Application in the No. 5 mine pit in Muli Town, Qinghai Province shows that the proposed method has high efficiency in data acquisition and rich visualization effects in analysis results. It can achieve quantitative simulation of surface change processes in a web browser environment. The proposed method has a low cost and a certain ability to generalize, and can be applied to similar fields for change monitoring.
