Abstract
In recent years, with the rapid and stable development of the national economy, the scale of the logistics industry will continue to expand rapidly. In order to improve the efficiency of picking and transporting goods, it is necessary to develop a shuttle device that can replace manual labor and automatically transport goods to the shelves. The research on this device is of great significance in improving the efficiency of goods distribution and maximizing profits. This article proposes a structural design of a four-way shuttle car, and provides a detailed introduction to the functional components and mechanism design scheme of the four-way shuttle car. Based on this structural principle, an innovative design has been made for the traditional multi-layer shuttle car. This shuttle device can be applied in the retail, pharmaceutical, and logistics industries, and can also switch in a 90 degree direction in vertical storage tunnels and horizontal transfer channels. In the design, SolidWorks was used for 3D software simulation to complete part modeling, device assembly drawing, and motion simulation of the four-way shuttle.
