Abstract
Manipulating a mathematical equation is usually one of the common problems of students enrolled in mathematics course. For some, Mathematics is one of the most difficult courses. Contrary to this belief, Mathematics is a fun and enjoyable course if solving equations could be done in a short but understandable method. This paper developed, a fast and reliable formula that would simplify sin6nθ and cos6nθ using Half Angle Identities. This formula offers a simplified approach in simplifying sine and cosine function with exponent 6 to a function of cosine with exponent 1 with any value of n. From the algorithm of solving half angle identities the new formula will emerge.
