Abstract
In order to improve the detection quality of audio vibration signals and facilitate speech translation effects, an acoustic vibration detection system based on radar echo signals was proposed. The principle of detecting voice vibration based on radar was studied. According to the requirements of audio vibration detection, a MIMO radar system was established. Based on the characteristics of the sound source, the fundamental frequency was extracted and the impact of different algorithms on vibration resolution was analyzed. Based on MATLAB, the conventional MUSIC algorithm and spatial smoothing algorithm were simulated separately. The acoustic signals collected by radar and microphone were compared in the frequency spectrum, and the reliability of the design scheme was verified. The research results indicate that the bandwidth of each harmonic in the radar signal is wider, and the fundamental extracted from the reference signal has a lower error compared to it. Based on the functional characteristics of the radar echo system, the end-to-end audio vibration reception method was adopted, and the communication module for voice translation was designed. With the support of the audio vibration recognition system, speech translation can achieve good application results.
