Abstract
The current grid faces increasing complexity in load patterns. This paper addresses the challenges posed by complex loads, including the impact of high-speed railways and the ZIP composite load model. A grid planning model considering electrochemical energy storage and supercapacitor energy storage for optimized grid operation is proposed. An enhanced Sand Cat Swarm Optimization algorithm is introduced for model solution. Case studies demonstrate that the deployment of supercapacitor devices effectively absorbs the impact load, minimizing its impact on the grid.
