Abstract

Traditionally, aerial reconnaissance technology in the United States has been developed by government agencies and their contractors. More recently, however, it is the consumer entertainment industry that is providing the technology base for many of the reconnaissance needs. The present and future impact of these consumer entertainment products and developments on aerial reconnaissance are considered.
