Local retinal sensitivities are measured by projecting stimuli directly onto the retina. In this way stimuli can be positioned more accurately than with previous technologies by using a Scanning Laser Ophthalmoscope (SLO) with a computer and a modulator. These devices constitute a system which has to be investigated and calibrated to ensure proper accuracy in measurements.
