Abstract
A hierarchical 3-D multiview representation is used to model targets so that they can be efficiently recognized using sensor platforms distributed over a common geographical area. The hierarchical structure reduces storage requirements and the communication bandwidth required for data association between platforms at each stage of the recognition process
