Abstract
A study of 3-D vision is presented where real distances among some points of a scene are evaluated. To this end, two or three images taken at unknown positions are considered, and the "eight point algorithm" is applied. An experimental way to test the accuracy of estimations is considered, and an extension of a linear method to three frames is discussed. Simulations and actual experiments have been carried out and results point out the validity of the three view approach.
