Abstract

HgSe:Fe is a semimagnetic semiconductor exhibiting exceptionally high mobility of the charge carriers due to the special properties of a Fermi-level pinned system [1]. For these cases the carrier concentration is constant n ≈ 5 ⋅ 10¹⁹cm^-3 independent of the Fe-doping.
