Abstract
The development of 100GHz band, high power gyrotron is reported. Using the built-in mode converter, the oscillation of 100msec, 220kW at 120GHz, TE12,2 whisperimg gallery mode was performed. Also, the upgrade gyrotron for long pulse operation (>1sec) was designed and tested firstly with a short pulse (lmsec.). Then the power output of 500kW-600kW was obtained at 110GHz, TE22,2 mode.
