The magnetic II-V-semiconductor ZnMn2As2 is the stoichiometric extrapolation of the semimagnetic modification of (Zn1-xMn)3As2' We present first measurements of DC and FIR properties of this new compound in magnetic fields up to 12 Tesla. The conducting single crystal samples show definite resonance interactions in the FIR and pronounced hysteresis effects in the DC-magnetoresistance.
