Abstract

Coupling amplification of Stokes seed beam in a light guide filled with high pressure H₂, excited by an unfocused laser beam during multi-reflection is reported. The amplification coefficient is about 5.5 and the quality of the amplified beam is the same as or better than that of seed beam.
