Abstract
The operation parameters of high voltage 780.8 nm He-Cu+ and 469.4 nm He-Kr+ lasers were investigated in different electrode arrangements. An axial magnetic field produced an increase of voltage and a small increase of output power in He-Cu+, while a decrease in output power occured in He-Kr+.
