Abstract
Light scattering from rough surfaces with non-gaussian height distributions is studied numerically with the use of a polygaussian model of random processes. We discuss the influence of the height distributions with different types of the abnormality on coherent and diffuse specular scattering and on the angular distribution of the scattered radiation.
