We propose a class of models for non-gaussian stationary random processes with the polygaussian marginal distribution. The paper is concerned with the simulation algorithm to generate realisations and presents expressions of the autocorrelation function for one of the models proposed. Examples of the processes simulated by the algorithm are given and ways to construct other models of the class are outlined. The models can be applied for investigations of light scattering by randomly rough surfaces.
