Abstract
Wigner distribution functions (WDF) of a pure phase object are optically obtained by using a TN-liquid crystal light valve (LCLV). The optical productions of an auto-Wigner distribution function (AWDF) and cross-Wigner distribution function (CWDF) are discussed in comparison with ones obtained by the computer-aided productions.
