Abstract
A new architecture of cellular fuzzy logic array for grey level image processing is proposed, in which there are a parallel fuzzy logic and morphological dilation processing layer and a fuzzy logic processing layer. The architecture can be optically implemented in a multi-stage multi-imaging system with spatial coding and optical thresholding.
