Abstract
A three-dimensional representation of the vascular networks is of major importance for quantitative diagnosis and for surgical planning. This paper describes work in progress concerning a new method of three-dimensional reconstruction of the cerebral blood vessels from the digital subtraction angiographic image sequence. The proposed method is based on the image acquisition geometry of angiographic system. The reconstructed three-dimensional image can be used to visualize the anatomy of cerebral blood vessels.
