Abstract
The recent development of laser diodes emitting in the far red or near infrared range and which exhibit coherence length exceeding a few centimeters has opened new perspectives in the field of holography. However, the availability of recording materials with sensitivity in this spectral region often stands in the way of the development of new concrete applications. In this respect, this paper deals with a photopolymer recording system which shows great promise. Various compositions were optimized in which holograms can be recorded from 647 to 854 nm. Depending on the recording wavelength used, their holographic sensitivities range from 0.5 to 2 cm2J.
