Abstract
The mid-infrared absorption spectra of substitutional 3-d transition metal ions, (V,Cr, Mn, Fe) in II-VI semiconductors Zn(Se, Te) and Cd Se (Te) have been studied byFourier-Transform Infrared FT-IR spectroscopy. A defect molecule approach is found toprovide an' adequate description of the observed features.
