31 May 1994 Optical wavefront corrector based on liquid crystal concept

A laboratory prototype of the nematic liquid crystal (LC) phase corrector for adaptive telescope was developed. The corrector consists of a LC transparent controlled by light signal and a controller, transforming input data of the telescope wavefront distortion into proper light signals.
