Abstract
Based on the constrained Delaunay tetrahedral tessellation (DTT), a hybrid 3-D model of GIS is presented in this paper. Related spatial data analyzing tools, such as logic, geometry, topologic, buffering, overlay, and partially ordered sets, also have been introduced. Finally, some applications using the presented 3-D GIS model for urban planning are also suggested.
